The disastrous Ethiopian Airlines plane crash took 157 people life straightaway. The plane used for the flight was Boeing 737 Max 8. The jet crashed after taking off from Addis Ababa. In respect to honor the victims, ceremonies took place in Kenya and Ethiopia. The crash was so horrifying that the empty coffins were draped with the national flag. There was congregation held at Holy Trinity Cathedral where empty coffins were brought out. After the flight took off, the pilot reported a problem with vertical speed. Minutes later on board, the flight was seen crashing to the ground with raging fire.

Study to the flight investigator/black boxes, the accident caused is similar to Lion Air crash in Indonesia. On 29th October, 187 people were killed due to Lion Air Flight 610 crash. The similarities between the two crashes are the use of Boeing 737 Max 8 as a plane. Investigators have told the sources that two of them had a problem with the anti-stall system. It is designed to avoid plane to point upwards where it can lose its lift. Well, Pilots tried to correct the position but they failed due to the possible faulty sensor. Transport Minister Ms. Dagmawit told the journalist, "Clear similarities were noted between Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 and Indonesian Lion Air Flight 610, which would be the subject of further study during the investigation,". Boeing Chairman and CEO Dennis Muilenburg confirmed that they’re supporting the investigation. He also added that Boeing is going with a software update to address the behavior of the flight control system.
